Commonwealth Leadership Programme on Public-Private Partnerships

This programme would provide a platform for participants to gain a comprehensive understanding on the pros and cons, the benefi ts and pitfalls of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) approach and the mechanisms on how to successfully implement PPP in a developing country.

The aim will include learning of successful experiences of PPP markets in Africa and the rest of the World. Participants will study and discuss the relevant organisational structures, effective regulation, enabling legislation and risk management techniques that are needed to ensure properly-designed project procurement approach and timely fi nancing for PPP projects while achieving the objectives of affordability and value for money for the stakeholders involved.

How to apply

Applications need to be nominated through the CFTC Points of Contact (POC) in their own country, and have to complete the attached GIDD/1 nomination form. The completed form, endorsed by the POC, must be sent to:
