Making Economic Stimulus Packages Work for Women [Flyer]

The panel will explore whether economic stimulus packages allocate resources for women’s issues and move beyond one-time subsidies to gender-equitable job creation, social services provisioning and social protection within a rights-based framework. Opening remarks by Inés Alberdi, Executive Director, UNIFEM and Noeleen Heyzer, UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary, UNESCAP. Panelists include Carolina S.
