CYPRCA seeks to engage a qualified and experienced Consultant to analyse data collected from the Commonwealth member countries within the Africa region.
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Background:
The Commonwealth Youth Programme Regional Africa Center (CYPRCA) assists member governments in the development of programmes for the empowerment of young people aged 15–29, through Guidance on how to create an enabling environment for young people to participate as equal partners in development and democracy. All CYP programs aim at developing young people through their active participation in achieving the MDGs.
Consultancy Objective:
The consultant will analyze data and prepare a needs assessment report on Youth Development Programme delivery in the Commonwealth Africa Region.
Scope of Work:
The Consultant will review documentation from the member countries, stakeholders and other related youth- materials. This will entail analyzing sector Policies (where applicable) with regard to the objectives of Commonwealth Plan of Action for Youth Empowerment (PAYE) in consultation with Programme Staff at CYP RCA.
Person Specifications:
· Excellent written communication skills
· Master Degree holders in Social Sciences, Computer Science, or Statistics.
· Expertise and experience in research methodologies, software packages e.g. SPSS, MS Excel, EpiInfo reviewing public documents, etc should reflect the Knowledge, skills and abilities listed above.
Time frame:
The Consultancy-work will be allocated a maximum of 14 working days.the period includes report writing.
