Commonwealth Observers to hold Rwanda news conference

9 August 2010

The Chairman of the Commonwealth Observer Group for the just concluded Rwandan presidential elections, Dr Salim Ahmed Salim, will hold a news conference at the Kigali Serena Hotel on Tuesday 10 August 2010, at 2.30 pm local time (1230 GMT) to discuss his Group's preliminary views on the poll. Dr Salim served for 12 years as Organisation of African Unity (OAU) Secretary-General and is also a former Prime Minister of Tanzania.
